Chepstow House is a FREE service that will provide you with support and information to help you change things in your life that may lead to you offending.
We will work with you to make sure that what we offer is what you need. If your needs change then we will make sure that what we offer changes.
If you are a woman aged 18+ and you live in Stoke-on-Trent or North Staffordshire and you are at risk of committing a crime or you have committed a crime we can help you.
You don’t need to be receiving any other type of help or support to access Chepstow House. Ring us for an informal chat on 01782 208200.
However if you have probation officer, social worker, CPN or health worker them about Chepstow House and ask them to refer you in.
A member of the Chepstow House team will contact you, to discuss in more detail what your needs are and find out if this service is right for you.
With our help you will design your own personal action plan based on what you want to achieve. This could include:
Managing Your Home |
Help to find, set up and keep your own home; find furniture and get repairs done. |
Managing Money |
Help to claim benefits, reduce debt and budget your money. |
Self Care and Living Skills |
Help to claim benefits, reduce debt and budget your money. |
Motivation |
Help you to reach your goals and make positive changes. |
Use of Time |
Help to find education, training and activities that interest you. |
Social Networks |
Help and support with children, your family and relationships. |
Physical Health |
Help to find G.P.‘s, dentists and support to make and get appointments. |
Emotional and Mental Wellbeing |
Supprt through difficult times and helping you to use other services like counselling services. |
Drug and Alcohol Misuse |
Help to use substance misuse services and support you to get through them. |
Offending |
Help with the issues in your life that may lead to you offending; support to help you reduce the risk of receiving a custodial sentence; help to comply with orders and pay fines. |
Chepstow House is a member of Womens Breakout, a third sector umbrella organisation that represents voluntary and community sector organisations working with women offenders and women at risk of involvement in the criminal justice system in gender sensitive environments.
