Supporting People Inclusive Forum

Our customers get a chance to air their views
Recently, customers from 90 Hope Street and Hopwood House went to the Supporting People Inclusive Forum to give their views and opinions on homelessness, sleeping rough and their concerns about the housing allocations system.
Steve, from 90 Hope Street said, ‘The event was really good, fantastic. I learned things I didn’t know about some of the services I use and would definitely attend a similar event. I think everyone felt involved and they made sure they got everyone’s views by putting pens and paper on the table for people who didn’t feel confident enough to speak up.’
Patrick, also from 90 Hope Street said, ’I think it’s the first time anything like this has happened and it was certainly an eye opener. We all felt involved, they have said that they would feedback the findings, which is good, I would go again.’
We hope even more people will be interested next time, the food as well as the discussion was brilliant! Supporting People have said they will collate the findings of the event and feed them back, watch this space for more details.
