Customer Involvement

Would you like to be involved with developing the service you receive from Brighter Futures?

Do you want to increase your skills, confidence and meet new people?

Why should I get involved?

  • Get out and about, meet new people, learn new skills
  • Have your say about the services you receive
  • Be part of developing and improving new ideas
  • Improve the services you use

How can I get involved?

There are lots of different ways that you can get involved. You can be involved with just the scheme you use or Brighter Futures as a whole. Ask your support worker for the ‘menu’ of opportunities. Fill it in yourself, or ask a support team member to help you. Hand it back to them and we’ll do the rest.

What happens next?

Your details will be added to our database and we’ll contact you when the opportunities you have chosen are running.

Can I change my mind?

Yes! Just let a support team member know or contact our customer involvement officer (01782 406000) who will make sure that your details are updated.

Will it cost me anything?

No, we will reimburse bus travel expenses. Please make sure you keep your tickets and we’ll do the rest.

What about training?

We run training for some of the opportunities and also have links with local colleges to help you get skills in things like: reading and writing, basic IT and employability courses.

Who are the customer involvement champions?

Every scheme in Brighter Futures has a ‘champion’ who supports the team with customer involvement. If you want to speak to them, ask your support worker for their details.
