The Rough Sleeper's Team offer help and support to anyone sleeping rough within the Stoke-on-Trent or Newcastle Borough Council's boundaries.
What does the team do?
The team goes out every morning and some evenings looking for people who are sleeping rough. The team then work with the person to get accommodation in one of the three local hostels:
- 90 Hope Street, Hanley
- North Staffs YMCA, Hanley
- The Salvation Army, Stoke
What can the team offer?
The team can help with:
- Getting accommodation
- Claiming benefits
- Contacting and using other services
