Mental health and well-being

In addition to our housing provision, we offer comprehensive support services to address the mental well-being of our clients and the wider community.

We provide these services because we understand that mental health issues are enduring conditions that can result in various social challenges. Our goal is to assist individuals in recovering, maintaining wellness, and preventing crises.

We also recognise that mental health problems significantly contribute to many other issues we strive to address, including homelessness, social exclusion, and substance misuse.

The Clubhouse Network is a free, mutually supportive community for people who have lived experience of mental ill health. Our Clubhouses provide safe and welcoming environments in which members can regain confidence and a sense of belonging through social, leisure and volunteering opportunities. Safe Spaces is a ‘safe-house’ – a confidential service providing short-term stays for adults, away from stresses and triggers. Safe Spaces enables customers to avoid ward admission and maintain their mental wellbeing in a welcoming, safe and non-judgemental space. For more information, click here.

The Helpline offers emotional support for people concerned about their mental health or that of someone they know.  The helpline can listen to your worries and concerns, signpost you to services and help you to plan your next steps to improve your well-being. To contact the helpline, call 0808 800 2234. For more information, click here.
