Brighter Futures Clubhouse Network is hosting its own tea and cake afternoon at the TwentyfourSEVEN Clubhouse. Taking place on Tuesday February 5, the event will coincide with ‘World Nutella Day’ and all food and will be prepared entirely by Brighter Futures Catering Network staff, volunteers and customers.

Beginning at 11:30am, all guests will be able to choose from a selection of both Nutella filled pancakes and cupcakes – all served with a hot beverage of their choice. All proceeds will go straight back into the wider Brighter Futures network.

World Nutella Day began in America in 2007 and has quickly become a global phenomenon. Every year, people from all over the world come together in both online and offline communities to spread their love of Nutella.

TwentyfourSEVEN, recently awarded a 4* hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency, is located on Hillcrest Drive in Hanley. One of four locations across Stoke-on-Trent, the Clubhouse Network offers support to anyone with experience of mental health issues.

Steph Moss, Catering Network Deputy Manager, comments: “You shouldn’t need an excuse to take part in baking, but I suppose this counts as one! The staff in the catering network do a superb job and I’d love to see members of the public come along and share the experience. Here at Brighter Futures, we always try and get our customers involved in positive activities. Luckily, this is also fun. You don’t need an excuse for baking, but any is great.”

You don’t need a referral to join the Clubhouse Network, just contact them directly on: 0300 123 1535 or pop into one of our venues, as listed, for more information.
