Our Safe Spaces Network is a safe place for people to stay and access mental health support. This can be because of life circumstances or anything else that causes distress.
We’re an alternative where hospital admission is neither wanted nor needed.
Stay at Safe Spaces for up to 3 nights, during the week or weekend to give you that support with your mental health!
Considering current government restrictions – our team is offering:
- A three-night stay each weekend, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
- Three-bed spaces as we are still observing social distancing and asking customers to wear a face-covering in the communal areas, unless exempt.
- An allocation of meals. However, we ask that customers do not bring their food unless it can be stored in their rooms, fresh food cannot be stored in the fridge in the kitchen.
- Guests are asked not to access the kitchen area. Our colleagues prepare meals, lunches, and breakfast. All Cutlery is provided with individual sachets of tea, coffee, butter, jam, snacks, etc. which they may keep in their room.
Referrals for the service are being taken each Thursday. To be referred, speak to someone in your care plan, or a GP, who can send it through to us.
We ask that all customers have a lateral flow test before accessing the service and provide evidence of a negative result. All customers are asked to have a temperature test on arrival.
